DoMind Terms of Service
By downloading, accessing, or using DoMind ("the App", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Use of the App
DoMind provides tools such as notes, to-dos, events, and reminders to help you manage your daily life. You are responsible for:
- Providing your own device and internet connection
- Managing, backing up, and restoring your own data
- Managing notifications, battery optimization settings, and OS-level permissions
2. No Account & No Sync
DoMind does not use:
- Authentication
- Accounts
- Cloud servers
- Automatic syncing
You are solely responsible for manually:
- Creating backups
- Storing backups
- Restoring backups
3. Subscription & Payments
DoMind offers a monthly subscription:
USD \.99 per month
Payment terms:
- Billing is handled by Google Play Store (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS)
- You may cancel anytime via your Store subscription settings
- We do not issue refunds directly
- Refunds, if applicable, must be requested through Google or Apple
Access to paid features continues until the end of the billing period.
4. Data Responsibility
All data entered in the App is stored on your device. You are solely responsible for:
- Backing up your data
- Restoring data after device changes or app reinstallation
- Deleting backups from Google Drive / iCloud if desired
We are not responsible for:
- Lost, corrupted, or unrecoverable data
- Issues caused by device failure, OS updates, or user error
5. Image Storage & Compression
Images uploaded in DoMind:
- Are stored locally on your device only
- Are automatically compressed to maintain app stability and reduce file size
- Compression may impact image quality to some extent
- When you create a backup, images are included as compressed files
- Backup files are stored as ZIP archives on your Google Drive / iCloud account
- Backup files can only be restored through DoMind and will not appear directly in your cloud storage
- Your cloud storage quota is used for backups, though backup files are not accessible outside the app
6. Cloud Storage Services
Backup and restore operations use your own Google Drive / iCloud account. These third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for:
- Cloud service outages
- Cloud storage limits
- Third-party account security issues
7. Offline Use & Network Charges
DoMind works offline. Network usage occurs only when uploading/downloading backups. Your carrier may apply data charges. We are not responsible for any fees.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted service
- Error-free operation
- Zero data loss
- Compatibility with all devices or OS versions
Use the App at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DoMind and its developers are not liable for:
- Lost or corrupted data
- Subscription or billing issues caused by third-party stores
- Device-specific or OS-specific limitations
- Failures caused by improper use or denied permissions
10. Battery Optimization (Android)
On Android, DoMind may ask you to disable battery optimization to allow notifications to function properly. This is optional and does not provide us with any access to your device or data.
11. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms when necessary. Updates will be reflected with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated Terms.
